MATTER AERA Geared Electric Motorcycle

MATTER’s AERA is an electric motorcycle developed in Ahmedabad around a conventional motorcycle-like riding experience, including a four-speed gearbox alongside an electric powertrain. The company’s founding team includes Mohal Lalbhai, Arun Pratap Singh, Saran Babu and Kumar Prasad Telikepalli. Most electric two-wheelers simplify the drivetrain by eliminating gears, but MATTER chose to retain a manual gearbox as part of the rider interface while combining it with battery, motor, thermal management and connected electronics.
