Canvaloop Agri-Waste & Hemp Fibre Platform

Canvaloop is a Surat biomaterials company developing textile fibres, yarns and fabrics from hemp and agricultural residues. Founder Shreyans Kokra built the venture around the need to make lower-impact plant-based fibres compatible with industrial textile supply chains. Canvaloop’s work covers fibre processing and downstream material formats rather than only selling raw biomass, helping brands and mills evaluate alternatives within established spinning, weaving and knitting systems. The innovation matters to fashion because fibre selection determines a large part of a product’s upstream footprint.
